SHAWNEE, OK – The Potawatomi Fire continued their hot start to the 2026 TBL season, beating the Dallas Stampede 145-101 on Thursday night. The win was the Fire’s 27th straight overall and 56th consecutive win inside FireLake Arena.

Following a tight first quarter (30-26), the Fire were able to extend their lead to 21 at the half (73-52) before blowing the game open in the third (114-72). Ultimately, the Fire won by 44 points, making it the third 40+ point victory this season for the Fire.

“I thought we played pretty well tonight,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff. “It wasn’t perfect, but I thought we moved the ball well and really controlled the pace of this game. I thought our defensive effort was solid and that allowed us to get out and run. I think this is a Dallas team that is only going to get better. They have a lot of good pieces and if they can stay together and gel, they will be a really tough team later this season.”

Three players finished with at least 20 points for the Fire and seven finished with at least 14 points.

“I thought we really spread the ball out well,” said Dannhoff. “When we move the ball like we did tonight, we are tough to stop.”

Guard Jahmal McMurray led the team with 23 points going 8-13 from the field and 6-10 from behind the three-point line. Isaiah Wade recorded his third straight double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. K.D. Moore finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.
