SHAWNEE, OK – The Potawatomi Fire have signed reigning TBL Rookie of the Year Cam Williams (6-3, G/F) for The Basketball League’s upcoming 2026 season.

“I am excited to have Cam on the Fire this season,” said Fire general manager David Qualls. “He is great player and can light up the scoreboard in a hurry. I’m excited to see him step on to the court at FireLake Arena and I am confident he will become a fan favorite with his all-around game and personality.”

Williams, who was also a TBL All-Star in 2025, averaged 20.5 points on 52.1% shooting from the field and 39.1% from behind the three-point line. Williams also averaged 5.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.

“Cam is a special player who will make an immediate impact,” said Fire head coach and three-time TBL Coach of the Year Mark Dannhoff. “He’s more than just a scorer and shooter—he defends, moves well off the ball, rebounds, and brings a terrific work ethic and basketball IQ that we value.”

Williams, who is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, played last season with the St. Louis Griffins and has played internationally in Mexico. Williams finished his collegiate career at Missouri Southern State University.

The Fire will begin their 2026 TBL season on March 5th. Season tickets are on sale now. Individual game tickets will be on sale soon.
