SHAWNEE, OK – The Potawatomi Fire stayed undefeated as they beat the Dallas Stampede 131-89.
“I thought we had a pretty complete performance,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff. “Our offense played really well. I also thought our defense was very good, even if we did have a couple of lapses throughout the game.”
It was another balanced performance for the Fire as seven players scored in double-figures.
Chuck Guy led the Fire with 23 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. Guy struggled a bit to find shots, but he was aggressive and got to the line 13 times, making 12 free throws.
Among the other starters, Ricardo Artis II finished with 16 points to go along with five rebounds. Jay Hedgeman scored 15 points, grabbed five boards, and dished out three assists. Willie Warren finished with 11 points and had a team high eight assists. Warren also had two rebounds and a pair of steals.
Jahmal McMurray scored 17 off the bench for the Fire. McMurray also had five assists, a pair of rebounds, and two steals. Isaiah Wade finished with 14 points and four rebounds off the bench. Cam Williams also came off the bench and finished with 12 points and three rebounds.

Defensively, the Fire gave up a season-best 89 points while forcing 27 turnovers.
With the win, the Fire are now 8-0 on the season. The Fire have also won 29 games in a row dating back to last season and have now won 58 straight at home, a TBL record that dates back to the 2022 season.
