SHAWNEE, OK – For the third consecutive year, the Potawatomi Fire have advanced to the West Regional Finals putting them just four wins away from achieving The Basketball League’s first ever three-peat.

The Fire have reached this point after cruising to a 4-0 postseason record. The Fire swept Enid in the Central Division Finals before taking down the Logansport Iron Horses last weekend for the Midwest Conference crown.

The Fire have used a relentless offense and suffocating defense to get to this round. Through the playoffs, the Fire are averaging 150.3 points per game on 56.0% shooting from the field while holding their opponents to just 96.5 points per game and limiting their opponents to just 40.5% shooting from the field. Additionally, the Fire have won every game by at least 24 points.

The Fire will now take on the Great Falls Electric (21-3 Reg. Season, 4-0 Playoffs) in a Best of 3 series. These two teams are similar in their style of play on both ends of the court. Great Falls leads TBL in scoring at 129.4 points per game while the Fire are second at 128.9 ppg. Defensively, the Fire are holding teams to just 95.2 points per game on 41.4% shooting while Great Falls is holding their opponents to 109.4 ppg on 44.4% shooting from the field.

Beyond the numbers, one big storyline throughout this series is the fact that three current Great Falls players (K.D. Moore, Lyle Hexom, and T.J. Maston) all won championships with the Fire. Hexom won a title with the Fire in 2023 while Moore and Maston won titles in 2023 and 2024.

This should be an entertaining series with good games and quality basketball expected from both teams. The schedule for the series is as follows:

Game 1: Thursday, 6/12/25, 8 PM Central, McLaughling Center in Great Falls, Montana

Game 2: Sunday, 6/15/25, 7 PM Central, FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma

Game 3: Monday, 6/16/25, 7 PM Central, FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma
