SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – The Potawatomi Fire got their fourth consecutive win as they beat the San Antonio Clutch 121-67 on Tuesday night. The 67 points allowed were third fewest in team history.

“I thought our defense played really well again tonight,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff. “We really wanted to play well on defense this trip and I thought we did that. We played with a lot of effort, communicated well, and did a good job shutting San Antonio down.”

The Fire held San Antonio to just 32.9% shooting from the field and only 27.6% from three. The Fire also forced San Antonio into 14 turnovers over the night. Maybe most impressively, the Fire allowed 11 offensive rebounds but did not give a single second chance point.

Kam Williams led the way for the Fire, scoring 27 points and grabbing 5 rebounds.

“We have been waiting for Kam to break out these past couple of games,” said Dannhoff. “He practices really hard and gives good effort on both ends of the floor. I was really happy to see him have a big night tonight.”

Isaiah Wade had another big game with 25 points and 5 rebounds. Joining those guys in double-figures was Chuck Guy, who finished with 16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals.
