SHAWNEE, OK – The Potawatomi Fire are excited to announce the signing of veteran big man Vincent Boumann (6-9, Center) for the remainder of the 2026 TBL season.

“We are excited to have Vincent join us for the rest of the year,” said Fire general manager David Qualls. “He’s a player we’ve had our eye for some time and I’m excited that we can bring him to the Fire as we go for our fourth straight title. I’m confident he’ll be able to fit into the Fire family both on and off the court.”

Last season, in 26 games combined with the Windsor Express of the BSL and the Seattle Super Hawks of the TBL, Boumann averaged 14.3 points and 8.7 rebounds per game while shooting 57.7%.

“Vince is a longtime TBL and overseas veteran,” said Mark Dannhoff, head coach of the Fire and a three-time TBL Coach of the Year. “He’s going to add to our depth and provide us another quality big man as we get set for the tough grind that is the TBL playoffs. We are excited to have him join us.”

Boumann is familiar with TBL. Prior to his time with Windsor and Seattle last season, Boumann has also played for the Salem Capitals in 2022 and the Vancouver Volcanoes in 2024. and the Seattle Super Hawks (2025). Beyond his TBL experience, Boumann has played all over the world including in Armenia, Austria, Germany, Mexico, and Thailand.

Originally from McMinnville, Oregon, Boumann played collegiately at Point Loma Nazarene University and Western Oregon University.

Boumann will make his Fire debut this Sunday, May 10th, when the Fire host the Dallas Stampede at 3 p.m. In celebration of Mother’s Day, all women will get into the game for free. Tickets for the game are available at potawatomifire.com/tickets.
