DALLAS, TX – For the second time in three seasons, the Potawatomi Fire finished the regular season undefeated. The Fire finished the 2026 regular season 18-0 after beating the Dallas Stampede 135-106 on Saturday afternoon.

“I thought we played well today, especially in the second half,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff. “I thought we were a little sloppy in the first half, but I felt like we cleaned things up and played our brand of basketball in the second half.”

Chuck Guy recorded his third triple-double of the season finishing with 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists. Guy also finished with seven steals as he continues to make his case for an unprecedented third straight TBL MVP award.

Isaiah Wade, who is in the mix for TBL’s 6th Man of the Year award, recorded his sixth double-double of year finishing with 17 points and 19 rebounds.

Willie Warren led the Fire in scoring on Saturday finishing with a season-high 34 points on 15-24 shooting. Warren also finished with two rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Off the bench, Jahmal McMurray scored a season-high 27 points, including going 6-10 from behind the three-point line.

Rounding out the players who scored in double-digits, Ricardo Artis II finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, and four steals while Jay Hedgeman finished with 10 points and five rebounds.

“I thought we did some things today and I like where we are going into the playoffs,” said Dannhoff. “But, it’s a new season and it doesn’t matter what our regular season record is now. All that matters is getting read to face a really good ADS Sentinels team.”
