SHAWNEE, OK – The Potawatomi Fire clinched their fourth consecutive Central Conference title with a 148-103 victory over the ADS Sentinels on Friday night.

“We have to give. Lot of credit to ADS,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff. “They are a very good basketball team with a lot of talent. They challenged us in many different ways. I was just happy that we were able to answer those challenges this series.”

Chuck Guy led the Fire with 36 points and 14 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season. Guy just missed out on a triple-double finishing with nine assists and two steals as well.

K.D. Moore had another good game scoring 26 points. Over the last eight games, Moore is averaging 27.4 points per game. Willie Warren finished with 16 points, four rebounds, and seven assists to round out the starter who finished with double-digit points.

Off the bench, Isaiah Wade continued to make his case to be TBL’s 6th man of the Year scoring 23 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

Also, off the bench, Jahmal McMurray bounced back after a slow Game 1 to score 18 points in Game 2. McMurray also grabbed three rebounds and dished out two assists. Finally, Vincent Bounmann had his best game in a Fire jersey scoring 14 points and grabbing five rebounds.

“Our guys put in so much work that I am confident they are ready for any challenge thrown at them,” said Dannhoff. “The reason we’ve had the success we’ve had is because of the way the work and buy in to our culture. All of the guys on this roster have helped us get to this point and all will play a role in determining how far we go.”

With the win, the Fire are now 20-0 overall and 2-0 in the postseason. The Fire have now won 41 consecutive games overall and 65 straight games inside FireLake Arena.

Up next, the Fire will advance to the Regional Finals. The Fire do not know who they will play nor when or where they will play in the Regional Finals.
