SHAWNEE, OK – Following their first loss in nearly two years, the Potawatomi Fire bounced back with a 127-113 win over the Enid Outlaws.

The Fire used a balanced attack that saw five players finish with at least 10 points and three players finish with double-doubles.

“I thought we got a lot of good effort from everyone who played tonight,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff. “We played connected basketball and focused on what we could control. I was really proud of how we played as a team tonight.”

Deshawn Munson led the Fire with 32 points and 14 rebounds to record his third double-double of the season. Munson also finished with 6 assists and a pair of steals.

“I though Munson played a great game tonight,” said Dannhoff. “He was decisive and made a point of getting to the rim. When he does that, he’s nearly unstoppable.”

Joining Munson with double-doubles were Paul Harrison, who finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds, and Chuck Guy who finished with 15 points and 10 assists. For Harrison, it was his first double-double of the season. For Guy, it was his third.

Also finishing with double-digit points tonight were Ricardo Artis II (23 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 steals) and Jay Hedgeman (10 points and 4 rebounds).
