MUSKOGEE, OK – The Potawatomi Fire kept their undefeated season alive with a big 148-102 win over the Muskogee Sky Kings on Friday night. The win was the Fire’s 33rd consecutive win dating back to last season.
The Fire got off to a hot start, scoring the first 16 points of the game. Muskogee did not get on the scoreboard until there was 7:30 remaining in the first quarter.
“We got off to a really good start and that really set the tone for us,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff. “I thought we played with a lot of focus and did a nice job of taking care of business on the road.”
Nine of the Fire’s 10 active players finished with at least 10 points. Willie Warren led the Fire with a season high 23 points to go along with six assists, and five rebounds.
Isaiah Wade continued his push for 6th Man of the Year with 22 points and nine rebounds off the bench.
Among the other starters, K.D. Moore had one of his more complete games of the season scoring 17 points while grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out three assists. Jay Hedgeman finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Ricardo Artis II finished with 13 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Two-time TBL MVP Chuck Guy finished with 11 points to go along with eight assists and five steals.
Off the bench, Jahmal McMurray finished with 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists, T.J. Maston scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds. Johnnie McCants scored a season high 10 points while grabbing seven boards and blocking two shots. Finally, Cam Williams had eight points and five rebounds.

With the win, the Fire are now 12-0 on the year. Up next, the Fire will host the Muskogee SkyKings on Friday, April 24th. That game will take place at FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 PM.
