The Potawatomi Fire are excited to announce the signing of Kameron “Kam” Williams for the upcoming 2025 season in The Basketball League (TBL).
Williams, a 6-2 guard originally from Baltimore, Maryland, last played in 2023 with TBL’s Wichita SkyKings.
“We are thrilled to bring Kam to the Fire,” said Fire General Manager David Qualls. “Kam is a very good player that can absolutely light up the scoreboard and excite the fans with his ability. Beyond his talent, Kam has a strong character and I know he will fit in well with the culture we have built. I’m excited to see how he helps our team this season.”
“I’m excited to work with Kam,” said Fire head coach, and two-time TBL Coach of the Year, Mark Dannhoff. “He is a combo guard that can play the point or along the perimeter. Kam is a dynamic scorer and can shoot from all three levels. I really feel he will be a great addition to our squad.”
In 2023, as a member of the Wichita SkyKings, Williams averaged 12.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists over 25 games. Williams shot 50.2% from the field, 38.5% from three, and hit 85.7% of his free throws.
Prior to joining Wichita in 2023, Williams played for the Albany Patroons in 2022, CD Povoa (Portugal) in 2020-2021, Ohod Medina (Saudia Arbia) in 2019, and Sayago (Uruguay) in 2018-2019. Williams played collegiately at Ohio State University.
The Fire will begin their 2025 TBL season in March. Individual game tickets and season tickets will be on sale soon.
