The Potawatomi Fire are pleased to announce they have re-signed Isaiah Wade for The Basketball League’s upcoming 2025 season.

Wade, a 6-7 forward who calls Oklahoma City home, is back with the Fire for the second consecutive year. Wade joined the Fire roughly halfway through the 2024 season, playing in 16 games with six starts.

“We are thrilled to bring Isaiah back,” said Fire General Manager David Qualls. “He was a big addition for us midway through the season last year and we are excited to now have him for a full season. Isaiah is a good player and hard worker. We are confident he will again have a positive impact on our team.”

“Isaiah is a versatile player that can impact the game on both ends of the court,” said Fire head coach, and two-time TBL Coach of the Year, Mark Dannhoff. “His ability to play strong down low while also being able to knock down threes makes him a weapon offensively and gives us a lot of flexibility when he’s on the floor. I’m excited to work with Isaiah once again and I know he will work hard and be ready to do what is asked.”

Last year, in 16 games, Wade averaged 10.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He shot 53.8% from the field and made 66.7% of his free throws.

This will be Wade’s second season in TBL, both with the Fire. He previously played in China for the Macau Blackbears and in the NBA G-League with the Grand Rapids Gold.

The Fire will begin their 2025 TBL season in late February or early March. Individual game tickets and season tickets will be on sale soon.
